Your Body's Talking - Are You Listening?

There’s no need to sit and wonder in vain what your body needs to heal… when you can just ask it what it wants! Why guess, when you can just ask?

Even if you think your intuition’s broken and you can’t receive any messages, I’ll make the case for you today that it’s just a matter of tuning into the right signal.

This is something anyone can do, and in fact you might be surprised at how much your body has to say! If you’re ready to make yourself a priority and listen to your body’s messages, it’s time to pick up the phone and say hello!

As part of our mission to rewild the soul, I’ll continue in this post with my series on helping your body heal using your spiritual superpower otherwise known as… your consciousness!

If you haven’t realized it by now, your awareness, your attention and intention, are all you need to have a positive impact on your health. Yes, a big part of it is identifying and healing the emotional and energetic root cause of your symptoms, which I’ve talked about before in other posts, but there are a lot of other methods that work hand-in-hand with each other to really get you to that healed place you want to be.

One of those involves opening up your intuition to literally have a conversation with your body.

I think all of us have the experience sometimes of just wishing our bodies could talk to us and tell us what’s wrong – why are they hurting? Why are they not working right? Why are they struggling to heal?

And unless you think of yourself as a super-psychic with highly developed clairaudience and telepathic skills, you might completely disregard your own innate intuitive ability to hear your body’s messages.

What you need to know is that it is your birthright as a human being to be intuitively open and connected to everything else around you, especially your body, which is an expression of your soul’s essence and reflects to a certain extent the energies that make up your auric field, and your genetic lineage inherited through the DNA.

And it’s all connected on Indra’s Net, which is basically the fabric of existence. It works like a network of light through which the energy of Source consciousness flows to create all things. If you’d like to learn more about that, just check out one of my earlier episodes on that HERE.

And so your intuition works because your consciousness can call to you any information that exists through Indra’s Net. That’s the foundation for all intuitive communication – clairvoyance, clairaudience, clairsentience, you name it. Even though your human body is designed to filter out a lot of that information to keep you focused on your 3D adventure, your consciousness is without limits and the more you practice tuning in to your body’s wisdom, the more answers you will receive and the clearer they will be.

Don’t take my word for it – as I say about all my work, give it a try, maybe more than once, and decide for yourself whether this is a method that works for you to help your body heal. There are lots of different ways and you just need to try them and see what fits for you the best.

TUNING IN

Ok, so how do we do this? I’m actually going to say there are two parts to this, equally important, and only one of those is your body. The second part might surprise you, but it will make sense at the end, I promise ;)

So to talk to your body, you will ideally need to be in a quiet place for a few minutes, because the voice of spirit is a quiet one, and if you’ve got noise around you, it won’t be as easy to hear your body speak. And that includes energetic noise! So you first must send out all external energies that do not belong to you and tell them to go where they need to go. Just intend for them to go, imagine or feel them leave, send them out with kind of a soft explosion of energy and take a deep breath. You could also imagine a waterfall flowing over the top of your head and washing all that residue down to be recycled in the Earth. Up to you.

Then, equally important, you’ll want to call all of your own energy back to you, from whatever you’ve been thinking about, wherever you’ve been the last week, back from your ruminations about the past and your worries about the future… really bring it in to the here and now, which means to bring it all the way into your body. Really pack it in, and make sure your energy’s in the back of your head and the back and bottom of your body, because most of us tend to go up and out to anticipate danger or make plans, and if you’re an empath, your energy’s probably up in someone else’s field to figure out what they’re feeling so that you feel safe. If you tend to be hypervigilant, even more so…. Those are some of the most common tendencies.

So get back in your body, and now that you’re present, only now can you start to dialog with your body. You first had to cut through the noise, bring back your full awareness and now you can clearly identify your own signal coming from your own body and being. It’s kind of like tuning the dial of your mind to pick up the right channel.

Alright, so once you’re clear and focused on yourself, just pose a question to your body and listen for the answer. Something like “Body, thank you so much for supporting me. Please tell me, what do you need from me to heal completely and perfectly? What can I do to make you feel loved and supported? How can I help you heal more fully?”

And listen quietly for the answer. Now, the reason some people give up right away is because they don’t know how to interpret the answers they get and they think nothing’s coming. You might get a specific thought or idea, or an image in your mind’s eye; you might hear words. If so, great. Sometimes the body is so excited that you’re finally paying attention, it could flood you with a lot of thoughts and impressions that you have to sort through and make sense of, because it’s been waiting all these years to get through to you.

Another possibility is that the answer comes just as a physical sensation or emotion. It may not make logical sense, and that’s ok – just welcome whatever you feel and trust that the message is being received and informing your subconscious and your energy field, and if you need to understand something consciously, the information will come when you need it. Just welcome whatever you feel and thank your body for its message. Don’t reject the message just because it comes in a form you don’t like or understand. Your body’s trying its best and you’ll get more sensitive with time and practice.

Ok, those are two possibilities. The other possibility is that your body could be a bit skeptical at first and doesn’t 100% trust that you really care, because all these years it’s been ignored, no matter how much it tried to get your attention. In that case, it may not answer you right away. It may be cautiously waiting to see if this is just a one-time freak accident or if you’ve decided to make a habit of connecting in. So then the only thing to do is to ask gently every day and re-establish a connection. Your body will come around.

And make it a promise to do your best to act on any info you receive, and give your body what it’s requested. That’s how you establish trust in yourself.

And now the surprise at the end is that the other half of this, and equally important, is to do the same with your heart. You may not think your happiness on an emotional and spiritual level is that important for your physical health, but it has everything to do with how much light is flowing through your body to help it heal itself.

Ask your heart what it needs from you. Ask it how you can make it feel more loved and supported. Ask it how you can show it that it is safe and cared for. You may get similar responses to those from your body, like either a flood of information, a wave of sensations, or perhaps some silent distrust right at first, but if you keep going, your heart will understand and will open up to you. The more you ask questions of your heart and body, the more the answers will come.

Like everything I teach here, this is not a one-time event. These are tools and techniques to practice every day, to make a habit of, and to let transform you into who you’ve always wanted to be – a bright star shining your unique frequency, in tune with yourself, trusting yourself, and your own greatest ally and supporter.

You’ll realize your own true power to transform yourself and your life, and you’ll come on line with the highest possible level of health because you know you are worth it. Deep down, you’ll know you are an infinitely valuable part of this universe and we are incomplete without you.

Remember, your healing inspires others to heal as well!

So keep going.
