My EXACT Process to Dissolve Pain into Light

When your body’s in pain, what do you do? Do you do something to ease the symptoms? Do you try to numb out or distract yourself with other things? Do you try to grin and bear it, and suffer through patiently?

What if I told you that your pain wasn’t something you had to fight, nor is it something you’re stuck with forever? What if your body wasn’t against you at all, but actually is helping you by holding this pain for you all this time until you’re ready to face it?

After many years of experimenting and sometimes discovering things that work by accident, I’m going to offer you an alternative perspective: Go towards the pain, not away, and it will dissolve into thin air like clouds on a windy day.

Yes, it takes a lot of bravery. But you deserve to face your fears and feel better. I’ll explain to you here the exact process I use to turn my pain into light so you can try it for yourself and make your own decision.

PAIN = LIGHT

Today is the start of a new series on working with the physical body not only to heal its symptoms, like pain and illness, but also to expand our consciousness quite literally into enlightenment: to fill ourselves with our infinite divine light.

Now, the only way any of this will work is if you are open to shifting your idea of yourself. Returning to the body and appreciating the physicality of being human is highly mystical and at the same time highly practical, and it will give you a new lease on life.

You will rediscover the magic of your body AND your deeper soul. Everything you thought you knew about who you are and how life works will be turned on its head, and yet it will make much more sense, like… this is how things should naturally be. We are naturally powerful, loving and wise. Our bodies can naturally heal themselves. And we are naturally connected to our infinite divine Source. When we rewild our souls, we are returning to our true nature as all of that.

Yes, there are many denser, darker aspects of reality that seem to temporarily distort our true nature as light, and so we forget how to be a powerful soul, and we forget how to heal. We end up feeling powerless to our pain, be it physical or emotional pain, and for a long time we’ll try to do everything we can to avoid feeling that pain. That’s of course completely understandable.

But what happens when we try to avoid and ignore and numb out and distract ourselves from our pain? The pain grows and emotional pain starts to become physical pain, and it gets harder and harder to ignore. The pain ends up controlling us.

To begin, in order to dissolve pain and take back control over our bodies, we need to understand what pain is on an energetic level. Your pain, my friend, is made of light. Now, there’s a whole lot of quantum physics behind this statement, but it’s too much to put in here, so I’m actually hosting a live online retreat soon that will teach all of this in detail, so you’re welcome to sign up HERE if you’re interested, but suffice it to say that the pain in your body is the light of your consciousness under pressure – you can also call it density or trauma.

How did it get there in your body? Well, YOU put it there! To be more precise, the trauma was created when a difficult situation occurred and brought up an emotion in you, and in that moment you didn’t feel safe to feel the emotion fully. Whether it’s a big or a small trauma, it all works the same.

And that’s ok. When a tiger’s chasing us, we’re not going to stop and process our fear; we’re just going to run. We’re going to do what we need to do in order to survive. Totally normal. But ignoring that emotion didn’t actually make it go away. It just got stored away for later.

So, it may no longer be in our conscious mind, but it’s definitely still in the subconscious, and the way we access that is through the body.

Your body loves you so much, it carries around everything you don’t want to feel. Your body holds those repressed emotions silently, allowing them to come up once in a while so that you have a chance to process and heal them, but if you don’t take that opportunity, and you distract yourself again to avoid feeling them, they go back into storage.

Now, if you wait long enough, those emotional energies that are painful and dense really want to be reunited with your conscious mind and be healed, so they will start to get louder. They energetically attract situations in your life that may be a repeat of past events or relationships that will trigger you more and more… to get you to finally feel those repressed parts of you fully.

And eventually, if you’re still not listening, the body starts to show you in a way you can’t ignore by presenting physical symptoms.

You can say that the cause of the symptom is the wrong bacteria or fungus growing in that area, or the wrong cells growing at the wrong time, or a toxin, or an injury. And that is true, but it’s not the energetic root cause.

The energetic cause is an emotional one, and that specific repressed emotional energy caused you to be a match to that toxin or that bacteria or that injury. So, it’s both. But one came before the other. Without that dense energy or trauma, that bacteria would not energetically be a match to your body.

In fact, I would go so far as to say that all physical dis-ease is the result of your resistance to the density or trauma that is stored in your body. That includes both your stress from this lifetime, and your ancestors’ stress that was then passed down in the DNA.

Even a lot of the health organizations of various countries at the national level admit that 90-95% of illness is from stress, and then I would say the rest is from your ancestors’ stress, and for the science you can check out the work of Bruce Lipton, for example.

That means that the physical symptoms of your pain and illness are actually messages from your body telling you that there is some emotional distress that needs your attention. And that means that your body is not out to get you, and not out to make your life miserable, but instead is providing a vital service to you, alerting you to what needs your attention and what subconscious parts of you are crying out to be one with you again.

So let’s just take a moment to thank our bodies right now, for serving us so selflessly in this way, and for giving us these messages and these opportunities to heal, and to re-discover and love more of ourselves.

Thank you, body.

WELCOME THE PAIN

Knowing that pain is basically consciousness under pressure, and a part of our energy that we have been ignoring, we can listen to our body’s messages and relieve the pressure by welcoming the pain. Yes, you heard me right: welcoming the pain.

When you welcome your pain, you hold it within your loving, non-judgmental awareness, and this allows it to unravel and fully show itself to you. It holds a lot of power and information, and at its core it is light.

So, by welcoming all the wisdom that is stored within your pain, the pressure is finally released. It’s as if you’ve got a pot of boiling water on the stove, with the lid on tight, and the pressure is building up because the hot water is expanding with the temperature. When you place your awareness fully on your pain and welcome it, it’s like you’re taking the lid off the pot so that the boiling water can escape by evaporating as steam.

As you keep your awareness on it, it’s no longer liquid; it’s now a steam cloud that is slowly dissolving into the air. It seems to have disappeared, but it hasn’t — it’s just merged with the surrounding air.

So, as you see, in this analogy that boiling water evaporating into steam is your pain dissolving in the light of your awareness. It doesn’t disappear, it merges with your greater awareness, with the zero-point field of your I AM presence.

In less spiritual terms, it’s the subconscious part of you re-joining your consciousness again. And that is my definition of healing. The word ‘heal’ and the word ‘whole’ come from the same Old Germanic root in the English language, and so for me, to heal means to become whole. Less separation and density, less suffering. More wholeness, more expansion, more self-love and more peace.

But wait: If the subconscious has become conscious, does that mean you’re going to be haunted by thoughts and images from your past traumas now? NO. Exactly the opposite.

That trauma has unraveled its density into formless light. It no longer has any form at all. It’s just more pure energy that you now have at your disposal to create beautiful things in your life. It has dissolved into pure light, the light of your conscious awareness.

So, if your body is in physical pain, either suddenly or chronically, and you welcome your pain instead of resisting it, and you let it get bigger and burn through your whole body until it dissipates on its own, and you welcome its wisdom with pure acceptance and love, you are also healing and integrating your emotional traumas – without retelling/reliving/remembering any traumatic story.

Try it and notice how you feel afterwards. Notice whether your pain has faded; perhaps it’s more manageable. There may be multiple layers and it may take multiple sessions to make a big difference. But more minor pains can dissipate almost instantly.

An example from my own life:

I remember once I was in the bathtub and I put my head under water. I suddenly got a huge pain in my ear, with intense pressure, and the pain was excruciating. I had gotten that before in the past, and the pain had lasted 2 full days. So this time, I decided to welcome the pain, saying to my pain: “You are welcome here. I am open to your wisdom.”

When I did that, the pain got bigger, it filled my whole head and beyond, and just a few seconds later I noticed that not only was it taking up more space, but it was also less intense. I kept going, I could feel it travelling through my whole body and auric field, and then it was gone. It didn’t go anywhere, it dissolved. The pressure had been released and my pain had dissolved into light.

That is the power of our awareness. Even if the pain persists, it may be less intense. Just shining the light of your awareness on the traumatic root cause of your illness can be enough to cause a change. Just becoming aware of it can alone lighten the pressure.

Instead of your physical (and emotional) pain controlling you, you are back in control, and you are empowered with the knowledge of what you can do to make a difference in how you feel. If any of this is too intense, you can reduce the intensity and pull back a bit, and take it a little bit at a time. No rush, no pressure ;)

If you make a habit of this practice, you may also notice your body will start to look different. Without that heavy, dense trauma, your body may move more fluidly as you become more formless. And your soul’s light will be shining more brightly all around you, and you’ll know that by how different you feel and how different your life becomes.

This is a skill you can use for the rest of your life. This is a skill that we as a collective would be wise to learn. Will we as humans be able to find the light in our pain? Will we find enlightenment through our pain? If we do succeed, we will have freed ourselves from what controls us here.

If you’re even a little bit curious, why not give it a try? I’ve created a guided meditation for exactly this process that you can access by joining my community for free HERE.
