Embodied Enlightenment Explained

Embodied enlightenment to me means bringing the infinite light of our I AM presence into our 3D bodies: Not only mentally understanding our oneness with all things, but living it moment to moment in our physical reality.

When you do this, life becomes sacred again. You feel connected. You can express yourself with love and honesty, and you make decisions not only with your head, but with your heart and gut. Your body may even heal faster. Your emotions and thoughts won’t control you, and you can deeply trust the divine flow of life to bring you where your soul wants to go. Life may not be perfect, but most of the fear just disappears.

BRING IN THE LIGHT!

Let it be known that I’m very far from enlightened – just to be clear. I’m walking this path right along with you to embody our enlightenment, to en-lighten ourselves by shining the pure light of Source into our 3D bodies and reality. But since you’ve been asking, I’ll take you on a journey through a bit of my own story so you can see what it looks like to crack open and start feeling and flowing again, and then I’ll offer some suggestions as to how you too can embody your soul more and more every day.

Because: You are a being of light. Even with all the fatigue and depression and unwashed laundry, you are a being of light who is one with the universe, on a hero’s journey of adventure and discovery and… on some level, you know that. You may subconsciously remember what it was like to dance in the ethers, in some of your many past lives as an etheric being floating in the higher dimensions without the weight and density of a physical body, and part of you may long to be back there, traveling light speeds in the blink of an eye, telepathically communicating with your etheric friends, and creating reality instantly with your thoughts.

And then one day you woke up in a human body on planet Earth and could no longer fly. In this realm, we stub our toes and scrape our knees. And when we hurt, most of us learn to suppress our emotions and instead carry them around in our bodies, festering into symptoms of pain and illness until we release them again. At some point, our bodies hurt so much with physical and emotional pain, we would rather not feel them at all. So, perhaps without even realizing it, we stay up here in our minds – or outside of our body completely. We dissociate. We distract ourselves with any number of diversions, or… we search for answers. And… if it’s our path, there may also be an awakening moment, a thirst for unity with Source or the remembrance of who we truly are, because our 3D struggles have pushed us to look for more.

I know that was my path – I felt so disconnected from my own soul that I didn’t even know what I truly wanted out of life. As a teenager I was almost numb from depression, despair, repressed anger. I had a teacher at school who tried her best to make every student cry. One day in class she spent the whole 40-minute lesson criticizing and shaming me for not showing emotions, because I wouldn’t cry like the others. Of course I locked up even more. Until I was 20 I could barely even speak to people. But over the decades, equal parts of growth and suffering cracked me open bit by bit, until one day I was 33, had lost everything, my relationship, my home, my friends, and found myself at my parents’ kitchen table on a grey winter day in Ohio where I asked myself for the first time in my life: What do I really want?

Suddenly there were sparkles in the air, and I knew the answer: I wanted to go to Istanbul, and I wanted to study consciousness. So I went, I took my laptop and my remote job with me, and that quickly led to a powerful but confusing spiritual awakening, to traveling around the world and into the depths of my own soul, and eventually I learned to heal, to dissolve dense emotions in my body and let the light in.

Now at 45, I’ve realized that I am transmuting energies within my flesh and bones. That I am dissolving form into formlessness and back into form. I am absorbing, integrating, and alchemizing light frequencies through feeling, seeing and just intending that it be so. I’ve realized I am made of light and that the light moves when my thoughts do. My focus and attention can make energies grow and it can make them dissolve into pure awareness. I am able to use this to help my body heal itself, to calm my mind, open my heart and just trust life. This realization is what I now am guiding you through in my classes and retreats and sessions, because this realization has transformed my life and it has made everything around me sacred, eternally beautiful and fleetingly precious, where once it was dull, heavy and lifeless.

That is how I brought the light into physicality. I entered my body again. I became more aligned, every day a bit more, starting to speak what was true instead of what was safe. Healing and integrating the pain I had accumulated over lifetimes to let the light shine through even more. I still have much more density, identity and egoic structure left to dissolve into the light of my soul, but it’s like I can smell the light now… I know where to go and that is wherever life leads me. Because if Source is in all things, it is in the people and places I interact with every day, in my sweet plant and animal friends here in my jungle home, and in all of you who stop by to listen and remember your own light.

ALIGN WITH YOUR SOUL

So if you too feel it’s time to embody more of your light, it’s really a question of alignment. How aligned are you to your infinite Source self, your unique soul’s essence? How much of your light is shining through? Do you say what you think with compassionate honesty? Does the work you’re doing reflect your true talents and interests and serve humanity the best possible way? Are your relationships mutually supportive and marked by growth and inner work? We can’t expect a perfect life, but we can do our best to align more and more with our soul’s essence and the divine universal flow.

Alignment brings your divinity into your 3D life, and then you also want to be inhabiting your body. Your body is only for you, so you may want to second-guess channeling other beings because your body’s uniquely calibrated to your soul and no other. Mediumship works great – talk as much as you want to those other beings, have conversations with them, but rethink allowing them into your body. That in itself can cause ill health for some, even if it’s a “positive” being, because your body’s not designed for other souls, and that’s not to mention actual possession by something more malevolent.

Your soul also can be jolted out of the body through a severe accident or operation or other traumatic event, and in that case you may want to get some help re-entering the body. But for the rest of us, it’s usually just a case of distraction and avoidance, and we can start to embody our soul’s light on our own.

Getting back in your body means feeling it, as uncomfortable as that may be. Take baby steps. Start with the top of your head, or your pinky finger or toes, and gradually work your way in through the rest of your body. This could take minutes or it could take months. And as you move through, do your best to allow all sensations to be there, and even to welcome the learning and the wisdom of that pain and tension you may be carrying. That’s the permanent way to dissolve it.

If you need help with this, I’ve got plenty of resources for you. There’s a free course that I think you’ll find helpful (HERE), there’s more advanced courses on healing and a community (HERE), and I’m even holding a live retreat soon that will help you dissolve your pain into light and fill your body with infinite Source light to help you heal (HERE)! I created all this for you because it’s what worked for me.

And then you’ll want to pay attention to how much you love yourself and your body, how much you’re actively committed to being here on this planet and not wishing you were somewhere else! And then also, sacred movement – find a way of physically moving your body that allows the energies and photons to flow through you – yoga, tai chi, sports, dancing… whatever makes you feel alive.

Because the work of embodied enlightenment can be a joyous one. You know you’re getting closer when you feel lighter, when you feel more connected, and when you can allow all the frequencies to move through you unhindered. You’ll feel your feelings fully, both pleasant and unpleasant, and then they’ll just dissolve on their own into the light of your awareness. You’ll take inspired action in your reality to improve your life and others’ lives while also creating in the ethers and dreaming up the world you’d like to see.

You’ll have a foot in both worlds, so to speak, because you’ll open up to perceive more of the dimensions and you’ll realize that they were never separate from each other. The spiritual and material are all just energy down at the quantum level and that’s how we’re truly connected with all things.

And finally, just be present – abide in the purity of your beingness. Repeat those 2 simple words “I AM” and be aware of your being. Just be. And remember that true acceptance and integration with all things means also including the body and the 3D. And that’s how miracles happen.

I’ll end by directing you to the first video I ever made, which I hope will inspire you to embody your enlightenment even more. You can watch it HERE.

Be brave, be the light that you are.

Namaste my friend.

Journey with me to the ends of the earth, to the edge of the universe, into your infinite potential.
