You no longer need to feel powerless to your symptoms. Even if your body’s in pain or something’s not working right, there is a way to take back control of your experience while also accepting ‘what is.’
The key most people forget is that the best way to help your body heal is to expand spiritually.
Because the #1 stressor for your body is thinking you are the body, because your body needs you to speak to it as the soul in charge and tell it what you want it to do. That’s the part a lot of people overlook.
I’ve commanded my body to heal in record time and helped my clients do the same, not with some manifestation hack, but by claiming our role as the commander of our ship, yet still flowing with the river of life – not against it.
If you’re ready to embrace the power to heal that was always inside you, read on and let me remind you just how powerful you are.
YOU ARE NOT YOUR BODY
This post is continuing our series on healing the physical body using our mind, heart and soul – because all of these are truly interconnected. When you see how all of this works to help your body heal, it really seems miraculous - and yet this ability was yours all along!
You have this ability to heal yourself because you literally are the universe having an adventure as your unique individual self. You have never lost this connection to your divine nature, and that is why when you remember this and you re-discover this power that was always yours, you can work with your body and with the universe to help yourself heal.
Some of you may be wanting me to skip to the ‘3 simple steps.’ Why am I making you read this instead of diving right into the how-tos? Because all of your success depends on what I just said. The more you accept your infinite nature, the more effective your healing will be. Most people teaching you to talk to your body to heal it are doing amazing work, but they’re leaving that part out because it’s not so easy to explain to the mainstream. I would rather reach fewer people but the right ones, so I’ll give the full truth here to those of you who are ready to expand your idea of who you think you are.
You are not just your body. As long as you’re completely identified with just being your body and nothing more, you’ll struggle to heal. Your body can do a lot pretty much on autopilot, but it’s also always listening for instructions from you. Why? Because to your body, to all of your trillions of cells, you are God. You are the universe. Your soul is expressing itself through your physical vessel, which means you, your soul is in charge. Your thoughts, your beliefs and your words are - to your body - the word of God. Your commands to your body are divine instructions to be obeyed out of pure love and devotion to you.
Your body is an amazing, intelligent instrument and we still don’t understand the half of what it can do. It loves you so much it is completely at your service night and day and will never betray or abandon you. It allows you to have this human adventure, this short, beautiful lifetime. It helps you to expand your awareness by carrying your traumas until you are ready to integrate them. It gives you signs and signals through various symptoms like pain and illness to alert you to what you’re not seeing. It gives you messages and answers your questions as soon as you start asking and listening. And it will respond to your commands because YOU are in charge.
THE HOW-TOs
Ok, now come the ‘how-tos’…
Firstly, you need to already be listening to your body. That means not only asking it direct questions about what it needs and listening for the answers, but you also need to be receiving the wisdom from your symptoms. That means integrating the emotions stored in your body that are causing you pain and discomfort. Both of these forms of listening to your body I’ve covered in the last few posts, and they are crucial to healing, so you may want to review those for a refresher. Very important.
Secondly, you’ve got to watch your language. Try to stop talking negatively about your body. I know it’s hard when things aren’t working right. But every time you complain about your body, you’re giving it further instructions because it’s listening to every word you say. If you’ve made it a habit of saying “I’m sick and tired” or “I have this or that illness” your body will do its best to give you more of the same. I know it doesn’t seem fair. No one’s blaming you for making yourself sick. There are many factors including personal and ancestral trauma and soul-level agreements, and you can’t judge yourself for your body’s condition – not at all.
However, this recommendation is for those of you ready to take responsibility not for your symptoms (because we’re all still learning here), but for your own healing. Understanding the effect you have on your body means accepting your own power to create miracles. Only then, when you have shrugged off the heavy cloak of victimhood and decided to take charge of your life, can you finally tap into your true sovereign power and transform your situation.
Speak the words you want your body to hear. Praise and thank your body for its devoted service. Tell it what you want it to do. Be specific. If you’ve eaten something that you think your body doesn’t like, you can say something like:
“Stomach, I want you to digest only what you need from the food I’ve eaten and let the rest pass through untouched. Take what you need and leave the rest.”
If you’ve got an injured leg and healing is slow, you can say,
“Leg, thank you for your service. Repair this broken bone twice as fast as normal because I want to go hiking again with my family next month.”
This is how I healed my own back injury – I was told it would take at least 2 weeks to start walking again, and much more than that to go back to my usual activities. When I told my spine to heal faster than normal because I am the soul in charge, I was back out there hauling logs and digging trenches outside in only one week and the pain never returned.
Some more important aspects to consider: When you talk to your body, always do it with love, never with desperation or anger or frustration. Integrate those emotions first, and then speak to your body. Remember, your body listens by feeling, by resonance, by vibration and frequency. It hears not only your words, but also the vibration of your thoughts and emotions.
And then, release your expectations. You never know how it’s going to happen. Even though you’re the soul in charge of your body, you’ve still got the whole universe to reckon with, and you can’t know how everything will happen. There’s no way to comprehend the workings of the universe with our individual minds and so the most important part of all is to allow life to surprise you. Make it your goal to sync up with the divine flow of Source through and around you in ways you cannot expect, control, or understand. The most magic words of all are: “Let it be so in divine order and timing, according to the divine will.” And let yourself surrender.
Because the more you heal, the more you dissolve the density of your trauma into formless light, the more you dissolve the boundaries between your individual self and the infinite light of Source. And then the more you realize that your free will is actually divine will. There never was anything else.
And that is how you take back your power and help yourself heal.
The guided meditations to take you through all of this are all in my full course on healing the body called Talk to Your Cells, which I haven’t mentioned before but it is there for you if you need it. You can enroll HERE.
I’m here for you and I believe in you, and I see how bright you’re shining. Now you just need to see it too.
Until next time… be brave, be the light that you are.
Namaste, my friend.
